Gietijzer geleidt warmte uitzonderlijk goed: het bereikt een hoge temperatuur en geeft deze warmte gelijkmatig en geleidelijk af aan de ingrediënten in de pot. Dat maakt deze Staub gratineerschaal ideaal voor ongeëvenaard sappige gerechten boordevol smaak.
