Deze ronde ovenschaal van Staub is gemaakt van gietijzer, een materiaal dat warmte langdurig vasthoudt en gelijkmatig afgeeft. Schroei snel vlees dicht, laat groenten langzaam garen en tover een goudbruine korst op uw gratin met deze ovenschaal, want gietijzer houdt warmte (en koude!) uitzonderlijk goed vast. Wilt u uw voedsel koud bewaren? Zet de schaal dan gewoon in de koelkast voordat u de maaltijd opdient. Topchefs zoals Paul Bocuse gebruiken het liefst gietijzeren potten en pannen, onder meer omdat ze slijtvast en gemakkelijk te reinigen zijn. De ronde ovenschaal heeft een diameter van 20 cm en een inhoud van 0,75 l. Ze is stapelbaar en geschikt voor alle warmtebronnen, ook inductie. Dit product is zo ontworpen dat u uw gerechten rechtstreeks van de oven of het kookvuur op tafel kunt zetten.
