Gezonde gerechten met verse, lokale ingrediënten zijn bijzonder populair. Met deze bijzondere braadpan uit de La Cocotte-serie zijn malse stoofgerechten een gegarandeerd succes. Afhankelijk van het recept braadt u groenten, uien of vlees eenvoudigweg op het fornuis aan en laat u het gerecht vervolgens langzaam garen in de oven. Zo ontwikkelen zich de typische braadsmaken, terwijl het geroosterde gerecht sappig en mals blijft. U kunt de platte cocotte van Staub gebruiken op elk type fornuis, inclusief inductie, en ook in de oven. De kookeigenschappen van het zwarte matte email aan de binnenkant van de schaal verbeteren na elk gebruik. De gietijzeren schaal houdt de warmte vast en verdeelt deze langzaam over het te koken gerecht. De ronde cocotte is zwart en kan voor vele gerechten worden gebruikt.
