Bij het ontwerpen van het Marlene ligbad hebben ze rekening gehouden met het afwerken van de afvoerplug. De plug is niet meer zichtbaar doordat de afvoer is afgewerkt met een extra plaat. Dit resulteert tot een strak afgewerkt bad zonder uitsteeksels. De rand van het bad is extra breed zodat je gebruik kan maken van een vrijstaande kraan of badrandkraan. Het bad is gemaakt van Akripol acrylaat. In tegenstelling tot standaard acrylaat is Akripol een sterker materiaal. Het wordt geproduceerd door middel van gieten. Dit zorgt voor een betere bescherming tegen krassen en chemicaliën. Ook is het materiaal duurzaam en voelt het warmer aan. Door de grootte van het bad moet de afvoer een minimale lengte hebben van 77.5cm en een lage sifon hebben. Deze kun je vinden onder de toebehoren, evenals de bijpassende poten en badpanelen. Let op! Bij aanschaf van een Polysan bad is noodzakelijk daarbij ook een Polysan afvoerset te gebruiken om de waterdichte afsluiting te kunnen garanderen. De juiste afvoerset is te vinden in de toebehoren.
