De Ficus Lyrata wordt ook wel de Tabaksplant of Vioolbladplant genoemd. De bijnaam'Tabaksplant'heeft de plant gekregen omdat de gedroogde bladeren gebruikt werden voor het maken van sigaren. De Ficus staat normaliter graag op een zonnig plekje in huis. Gebeurt dit niet, dan zal de plant zijn blad laten vallen. Met deze kunstplant is dat niet aan de orde, hij vind ieder plekje in huis he-le-maal het einde. De plant zal het goed doen op iedere plek in huis. Geweldig dus als jij net op die donkere plek een mooie Ficus wilt neerzetten. Natuurlijk wil jij dat de kunstplant realistisch oogt. Daarom is er tijdens de ontwikkeling goed gekeken naar de kleine details. Zo wordt er goed gelet op de afwerking, de kleuren van het blad en het materiaal wat gebruikt wordt.
